The pattern What these five have in common
Different countries, different trades, the same short calendar
A Cairo freight forwarder and a Basel bike shop have nothing in common commercially. What they shared was a deadline nobody wanted to negotiate and a list of things that had to work on day one.
All five were delivered between four and seven weeks — twenty-eight weeks of build across five businesses in four countries. None of those weeks went on a discovery phase that produced a slide deck.
Three things were in every one of them, which is exactly why they are not columns in the table above: search optimisation written for Google and for the AI answers that increasingly sit above it, a conversion path designed rather than inherited, and legal pages that exist. Those are the three a designer's scope usually stops short of.
What varies is the machinery — a shop, a course system, a chatbot, four CRM workflows, a second and third language. What does not vary is that somebody was responsible for the whole thing being finished.
