Questions and answers

What you want to know before the first consultation—answered before you have to ask.

50 answers. We start with what people ask first: what it costs, what exactly the two guarantees mean, and what is not in the price. If a question is missing, ask it at the first consultation. We answer in writing.

Price, guarantees and payment

The questions people ask first—answered first, with numbers.

What exactly does a website cost with you?

Three fixed fees: Präsenz CHF 690, Praxis CHF 2'990, Signatur CHF 4'990. These are not guide prices and there is no «from»—it is the amount on the invoice when you commission the agreed scope.

On top come 8.1% VAT and hosting: setup CHF 190 one-off, tariff CHF 12–16 per month directly from the Swiss provider, and domain CHF 12–20 per year.

Amounts as at 1 September 2026.

Why a fixed fee and not an hourly rate?

Because you should know in advance what you are spending. An hourly rate shifts the risk to you: the longer we take, the more you pay. With a fixed fee, we carry that risk.

The fee includes consultation, writing, design, review rounds, loading and usability checks, go-live and complete handover.

What exactly do you guarantee on the delivery date?

Präsenz goes live within 7 working days, Praxis within 3 weeks and Signatur within 6 weeks. The clock starts when your details and pictures are complete.

If we miss the Präsenz deadline, the website is free. For Praxis and Signatur, we credit 20% for every started week of delay, up to 50%.

What if the delay is my fault?

The clock pauses while we wait for details, images, feedback or sign-off from you. Every pause is recorded in the project log.

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?

If you are not satisfied within 30 days of going live, we refund the full fixed fee. You do not have to give reasons or provide evidence. An e-mail or phone call is enough.

What happens to the website if I ask for my money back?

We take it offline, and rights to the texts, design and images we created return to us.

Your domain, Google Business Profile, own texts and photographs stay with you. Third-party costs such as hosting and licences are not refunded.

What is not included in the fixed fee?
  • 8.1% VAT
  • Hosting setup and monthly tariff
  • Domain registration
  • Ongoing care
  • Photo shoot for Präsenz
  • Additional review rounds
  • Professional French and Italian translations
  • Unusual image licences
  • Unagreed third-party system connections
  • Paid Signatur add-on modules

Anything additional requires a written quote and your approval.

Why is VAT not included in the price?

Businesses can normally reclaim VAT as input tax. Präsenz at CHF 690 net comes to CHF 745.89 gross. Both amounts appear on the invoice.

How does payment work?

The fixed fee is paid in three instalments: one third on commissioning, one third after approval of the first preview and one third at handover.

Payment terms are 30 days by invoice.

Do I have to sign a multi-year contract?

No. You commission a project, not a subscription. Hosting and care are separate and cancellable monthly.

What if I first want to know where my current website stands?

Start with the Digital Check: a documented review of your website, Google profile and readability for AI assistants. If you later commission a website, the check amount is credited.

The three tiers

Which website fits which business—and why we offer three paths.

Why three tiers and not one website for everyone?

Different businesses need different levels of content, functionality and control. Präsenz is for being found and contacted, Praxis adds enquiry and appointment flows, and Signatur allows teams to maintain and grow the website themselves.

What sets Präsenz apart from a website builder?

We write the content, keep the website independent of a subscription platform, provide complete ownership and include a guaranteed delivery date and money-back guarantee.

When do you recommend Praxis?

When enquiries, appointment booking, documents, locations or languages form an important part of the customer journey. Praxis also includes an on-site photo shoot and branding support.

When is Signatur the right choice?

When several people need to change content regularly, or when several locations and languages are involved. Signatur includes an editing system, team training and three review rounds.

Can I move from one tier to another later?

Yes. Moving from Präsenz to Praxis or Signatur is an extension, not a fresh start. Existing work is credited.

Does the delivery guarantee apply if I change tier?

Yes, with a newly agreed deadline for the expanded scope.

Being found: Google and AI assistants

What has changed, what your website does about it—and what we do not promise.

Is it not enough to be found on Google?

Google remains the main route, but AI assistants are becoming an additional route. Both need your services, contact details, opening hours and rates in clear text.

Do you promise first place on Google?

No. Rankings depend on changing factors nobody controls.

We ensure that your information is readable, consistent, correctly structured and reachable by search engines and common assistants.

What is the core of facts?

A single, binding collection of your name, address, phone, opening hours, services, languages, target groups, booking route and waiting time.

We use it consistently across your website, Google profile and directories.

What is content that decides comparisons?

The facts people need to choose between providers: suitability, waiting time, languages, first-appointment process and current rates.

Could my website be invisible to AI assistants?

Yes. Some hosting and security systems block assistants by default, while some websites hide content behind interactions. We check reachability at handover.

Design, logo, images and video

How we support you in design questions—even when nothing exists yet.

I have no logo. Will you support me?

Yes. Präsenz includes clean integration of an existing logo. Praxis and Signatur include support with logo direction, colours and usable files.

What does branding support mean?

A small, binding system for colours, typography, image style, buttons and spacing. It is included in the handover.

Where do images come from if I have none?

First from your own photography, then licensed image libraries, and finally illustrations or textures for abstract subjects.

Praxis and Signatur include a half-day photo shoot. For Präsenz it is optional.

Can you select or embed video clips?

Yes. We check licences, loading impact and accessibility. We do not use autoplay with sound.

Who owns the logo, images and texts afterwards?

You do. Your original materials and the work transferred at final invoice belong to you. Licensed images include documented licence records.

Can I keep my existing visual identity?

Yes. We adopt your existing logo, colours and typography and add only what is required for a usable website.

Quality: loading time, usability and security

What we check at every tier before you sign off.

How promptly does my website load?

We optimise images, avoid unnecessary code and measure loading performance before handover. You receive the result with the documentation.

Is the website usable for everyone?

We use readable typography, sufficient contrast, keyboard access, understandable forms and alternative text for meaningful images.

On which devices is it tested?

Small and large smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop monitors across common browsers.

How secure is the website?

All tiers use encryption and protected forms. Signatur also includes backups, two-factor login, a test environment and a documented update routine.

Does it comply with the Swiss Data Protection Act?

We follow privacy-by-design principles: clear form purposes, no analytics without consent, Swiss hosting on request and no third-party embeds that transfer data without interaction.

Can I have online booking or file uploads?

Yes. Praxis and Signatur can include an appointment or enquiry flow with confirmation, including integration with an existing booking system.

Process, your part and review rounds

How a project runs—from the first conversation to sign-off.

How does a project run?

First consultation, collection of facts and images, preview and review rounds, followed by go-live and complete handover.

What do you need from me?

Your binding details, existing logo and pictures, relevant access credentials, and one person who can review and approve the work.

For Präsenz, this normally requires two to three hours of your time.

How many review rounds are included?

Two for Präsenz and Praxis, and three for Signatur. Additional rounds are quoted before work begins.

Do you work on site or remotely?

Both. On-site work is available in Aargau, Basel, Zug, Zürich and Solothurn. Other work runs by video call, phone and preview links.

Do you write the texts?

Yes. We write from your binding information and professional terminology. You review, correct and approve the text.

How many projects do you take at once?

At most three new website projects per month, allowing the delivery guarantee to remain realistic.

Handover, ownership and documentation

What you receive at the end—and what you may do with it.

What exactly do I receive at handover?
  • Präsenz: website files, images, access credentials, core facts, test log and documentation.
  • Praxis: additionally design rules, image licence records and detailed documentation.
  • Signatur: additionally editing-system access, module list, test environment, maintenance plan and training recording.
Does the website really belong to me?

Yes. The website uses open standard files and does not depend on a subscription platform controlled by us.

Who owns the domain?

You do. New domains are registered in your name and existing domains remain under your ownership.

Can someone else maintain it later?

Yes. The handover documentation is written so another professional can continue the work without depending on us.

What happens if Nexilon no longer exists?

Your website keeps running under your domain and hosting. You retain the files, access credentials and documentation required for another professional to take over.

Hosting and care

Swiss hosting and ongoing upkeep—separate, voluntary and cancellable monthly.

What exactly does hosting cost?

Setup costs CHF 190 once. The ongoing Swiss hosting tariff is CHF 12–16 per month and the domain is CHF 12–20 per year.

The provider invoices you directly. We do not add a markup.

Can you organise hosting in Switzerland?

Yes. We can set up hosting with providers such as Infomaniak, Hostpoint or cyon. The contract and invoice remain between you and the provider.

Do I need an ongoing care plan?

Not necessarily for Präsenz or Praxis. Signatur requires updates and backups, performed by you, your provider or through our care plan.

What does the care plan include?
  • Care Basis: updates, backups, availability monitoring, security checks and a monthly report.
  • Care Visibility: additionally a monthly allowance for content changes such as rates, opening hours and new customer answers.
What happens if I cancel the care plan?

The website remains your property and continues running. You receive an updated handover package.

Still open? Then the first consultation is the shorter route.

30 minutes by phone or on site. You receive a tier recommendation and a fixed fee in writing, with no obligation.
