Market and tender radar

The tender you would otherwise have seen on Friday, after the deadline.

Everything else in our offer has to be explained to you. A tender explains itself — it comes with a date.

Nexilon Services GmbH runs a market and tender radar for Swiss SMEs: daily alerts on time-critical notices in agreed categories and one consolidated weekly briefing, drawn from at least four named sources. Each item carries a short note on whether it is realistically reachable for that firm. Nexilon does not write bids, does not submit in the client's name, and takes no responsibility for a missed deadline.

Daily alerts on time-critical notices, one weekly briefing, and the deadline tracked.

What you get

Two rhythms: one for things that expire, one for things that build a picture.

Daily alerts on what expires

Only time-critical notices, only in your categories, only where the deadline is still reachable. If nothing qualifies, you get nothing — a quiet day is reported as a quiet day, not padded.

One consolidated weekly briefing

Everything else in one place, once a week, on the same day. Ten minutes to read. Designed so that missing one week costs you nothing.

At least four sources

Named on the methodology page, not described in the abstract: the federal and cantonal procurement platform, cantonal official gazettes, the Swiss commercial gazette, and the sector sources your categories require.

A reachability note per item

One short line saying whether this is realistically winnable for a firm of your size and profile — including when the answer is no, and why.

The deadline, tracked

Every live item carries its deadline and how many working days remain. Items you flag get a reminder before they close.

A monthly one-page note

What came through, what you acted on, what you let go. Same measures every month, including the months where the answer is nothing.

What is not included

This paragraph is exact and we do not soften it.

  • We do not write bids.
  • We submit nothing in your name.
  • We do not assess your chances of award.
  • Submission remains entirely your act. We take no responsibility for a missed deadline.

What we need from you

Three things, and no more.

  • Your categories, in your own words. We translate them into the classification the platforms use.
  • Your realistic size band: contract values you can carry, cantons you can serve, references you can show.
  • One address for the alerts and one for the weekly briefing. They are often different people.

Categories are refined in the first fortnight. That is what the free trial is for.

How long it takes

A date, not an estimate.

The first alert reaches you within three working days of your categories being agreed.

The weekly briefing lands on the same weekday from week one. Miss a weekly briefing and that month is free.

What it costs

One number, before anything starts.

A fixed price, in writing, before any work begins. Not a range in the proposal, not an hourly rate, and not a number that moves once we are inside the work.

We do not publish a price on this page, and we would rather tell you why than pretend it is a policy. Our price card is being set from the first engagements we deliver, not from what we would like to charge.

Publishing a number now would mean inventing one. When you ask, you get the real figure for your scope — inside one working day, in writing, and it does not change afterwards.

If the number is wrong for you, say so on the call. We will tell you which smaller piece of the work is worth doing on its own, or that nothing is.

Two guarantees, in the engagement letter

We carry the delivery risk. You keep the exit.

Consulting has two failure modes that clients cannot control: it arrives late, and it turns out not to have been worth it. We put a price on both — ours.

Guarantee 1

The date guarantee

On the day we named, or you pay nothing.

At the engagement letter we write one calendar date. If the work lands after it for any reason inside our control, the engagement is free — you still receive everything, complete.

On the two subscription services, a missed weekly briefing credits that month in full.

The clock starts on the later of two moments: the signed engagement letter, or the day we receive the information listed under “What we need from you”.

It pauses to the day whenever we are waiting on you, and every pause is logged in the file you receive.

You never have to claim it. We check the date ourselves and apply the credit on the invoice.

Guarantee 2

30 days money back

Not worth it? Full refund, no reasons asked.

For 30 days after delivery you can ask for your money back. No form, no justification and no meeting to talk you out of it. One email or one phone call, and we transfer within five working days.

What a refund means, stated plainly: the licence to use the deliverable ends, you delete your copies, and we delete ours.

On a monthly service the refund covers the month just invoiced, and the service stops at the end of it.

Money we paid to third parties on your behalf is not refunded — a register extract, a data source or a translator. These appear as separate lines on the invoice.

Both guarantees are written into the engagement letter you receive before you sign. They apply to all four services, with no exceptions beyond the two named above.

How it works

Three steps. You can stop after any of them.

1

Agree the categories

One 45-minute call. We map your words onto the platforms' classification and set the size band.

2

Two weeks, free

Live alerts and two briefings. You tell us what was noise and what was missing. We tune.

3

It runs

Monthly, cancellable monthly. The one-page note tells you each month whether it is still earning its place.

Why this is bundled and not sold alone

Monitoring software already exists in Switzerland and it is cheap. We would rather tell you that than compete with it on price.

What we add is the reachability judgement and the tie into the rest of the work — which only pays when there is other work to tie into. If all you need is a feed of notices, buy the software and keep your money.

Before you commit anything

Judge the work before you buy it.

Start free

Two weeks of the radar, free, with your categories.

Real alerts, two real briefings, tuned to your words. If nothing in a fortnight would have been worth acting on, that is a finding too, and you have lost nothing but one 45-minute call.

Questions and answers

Answered here, so you do not have to ask.

What does it cost?

A fixed monthly amount, named in writing before the free fortnight ends, cancellable monthly.

We do not publish a figure here because we are setting the price from live engagements. You will have yours before the free period is over, so you decide with the number in front of you.

Why not just use a monitoring tool?

Often you should, and we will say so. Swiss tender-monitoring software is inexpensive and it does the feed part well.

What software does not do is tell you that an item is not worth your fortnight, or connect a notice to the target list and the conversation you already have running. If you only need the feed, the tool wins on price and we will not pretend otherwise.

Which sources exactly?

The federal and cantonal procurement platform, the cantonal official gazettes for your cantons, the Swiss official gazette of commerce, and the sector-specific sources your categories require — all named on the methodology page, with the update frequency of each.

If a source we rely on changes or goes down, you are told in that week's briefing rather than discovering a gap later.

What if I miss a deadline?

That is your risk and we say so plainly, on this page and in the engagement letter. We track deadlines and remind you on flagged items, but submission is your act and we take no responsibility for a missed one.

We would rather lose a sale over that sentence than have the argument afterwards.

We are entering the Swiss market. Can we bid at all?

Often yes, and more often than firms expect. Swiss public procurement is open to foreign bidders under the international agreements above the relevant thresholds, and below them the rules are cantonal and vary.

What usually stops an entrant is not eligibility but the qualification pack: local references, insurance evidence, and proof of registration, assembled and sendable on the day. The assessment covers whether yours is.

How much will actually come through?

In a narrow category, some weeks nothing. We report the nothing rather than padding the briefing, because a briefing you learn to skim is worse than none.

If three consecutive months produce nothing actionable, we will tell you to stop paying for it.

What are the guarantees on a monthly service?

If a weekly briefing does not arrive on its day, that month is credited in full. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers the month just invoiced, with the service stopping at the end of it.

How do I stop?

One email, any time, effective at the end of the current month. No notice period, no exit conversation and no retention offer.

You keep every briefing you have received and the category definitions we built with you.
